I bought this before a trip to Japan in February—the coldest month of the year there. The perfmance was great! It kept me very warm, such that i only had to use a mid-layer jacket. This allowed me to travel light. And the pockets are perfect for travel.

This vest is really comfortable and warm. I am 5'10 and 145lbs and a small fits really well.

It's a Burr™-- it's perfect. I own several of the Burr™ products by Kuhl-- all terrific outer-layers. This is my first vest, and definitely a great choice. The fit is nice, cozy, comfy, and warm. I wear it over long-sleeve tees/henleys....looks great!
