First of all, this is a beautiful, absolute top quality fur hat. I went with the brown beaver for it's classic and rugged look, water resistance and warmth. I get lots of great compliments on it and it looks fantastic. It is incredibly well made and warm like you wouldn't believe. This hat is exactly what I needed for keeping me warm (and highly fashionable) when snowshoeing the 3 miles up the mountain to my off-grid cabin in northern Vermont.

Michigan winters are all about extreme conditions which change rapidly. This beaver fur hat will keep me warm in minus 20F wind chills with driving snow or 40F sunny winter days. This is my second fur hat purchase from Fur Hat World and I am again very pleased with the quality and the excellent sizing. Being older, fur hats are crucial to keeping your entire body warm in the winter. The beaver fur is very plush and soft and looks very impressive when worn up or down. Very warm hat and craftsmanship is top notch. Wore it fishing as the lake was freezing up and kept my head toasty. As some people know, if you keep your head warm, your fingers and toes stay warm, too.
